I had a very fruitful three days at Backwoods Camp, Goa from 6th to 8th March 2015. On the first night when I woke up in the middle of the night I heard this and recorded it. It's in the middle of the Western Ghat forest. The area is under Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife Sanctuary. There are a few houses in the distance from where the dogs can be heard barking. I think that adds to the mystery of the atmosphere.
