Malabar Thunderstorm

In Goa's Bhagwan Mahavir WLS I stayed at Backwoods Camp. On the very first day there was a short thunderstorm that hit the area. With nothing else to do I recorded it and it turned out pretty well. While recording a thunderstorm it is a good idea to keep the input level low and be prepared for a lightning to strike.

The accompanying photograph above shows the exact spot where I stood to record the sound. This was done on 8th March 2013.
